Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, has forged a strategic partnership with Aptos Labs and Aptos Foundation to introduce a blockchain-based rewards system for its 500 million subscribers. The initiative will integrate JioCoin into consumer services via Aptos' LAYER 1 blockchain, shifting focus from speculative tokens to practical utility.

Currently in beta testing with 9.4 million users, the collaboration leverages Aptos' high-speed, low-cost infrastructure to enhance Jio's digital ecosystem. In exchange, Jio's massive user base amplifies Aptos' visibility in one of the world's fastest-growing crypto markets. The announcement was made at the Aptos Experience event on October 15, 2025.

This MOVE solidifies India's leadership in Web3 adoption, building on its top position in 2025's global crypto adoption rankings. Aptos' performance-driven network will deliver seamless blockchain rewards, aligning with Jio's mission to embed advanced technology into daily customer experiences.
